R4V Situation Report - Caribbean - April 2022

Escalation of raids and detentions of Venezuelans in Aruba. Refugees and migrants registered in Curacao for the “Responsible Integration" program. R4V partners in the Dominican Republic supported  microbusinesses run by Venezuelan refugees and migrants within the framework of the Inclusive Cities project. R4V partners reported a 45% increase in the number of refugees and migrants requesting accommodation assistance in Guyana. Less asylum-seekers have been registering with one R4V partners since April 2021 in Trinidad and Tobago.
