RMNA 2023 Planning Instructions
The Regional Coordination team, in consultation with key stakeholders across the region, has developed the RMNA 2023 Planning Instructions. The document and its annexes (incl. the timeline) cover a broad range of thematic issues, and is intended to provide practical guidance on the various stages of the RMNA’s planning process.
While we recognize that not all aspects of the Instructions are necessarily of relevance to every audience, in the spirit of inclusiveness and transparency, the document provides detailed technical guidance to (i) National/Sub-regional Platforms, and (ii) Regional and National Sectors.

NEEDS ASSESSMENT AND ANALYSIS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE RMNA

Assessing the needs of refugees and migrants and the other population groups of interest is a key requirement for each national/sub-regional and regional chapter of the RMNA. For the purposes of the RMNA, this document gives guidance and provides specific resources on how to define information needs and collect the required information, to later analyze the resulting information during joint analysis sessions with R4V partners.
